Over the 22 years of its existence, Every Child Counts has met the financial and human challenges of continuing to provide for struggling children. However, the challenge has been and continues to be a difficult one. Not only yearly but permanent funding is still needed to ensure the continuation of services to our students.
The actual cost to educate a student at Every Child Counts is $6170 per child per school year. During the last 5 years we have maintained an average enrollment of 100 students. ECC continues to charge only $1650 per year tuition due to the financial constraints of the majority of our students’ families. Only 10% of the subsidized tuition is actually collected. The remainder is met by donations.
Income and expenses for 2018-2019 are proportionally the same. Income for Sep 2019-2021; most of our fundraising and expenditures have been focused on reconstruction of the school. Virtual school has been operating since Oct 2020 and face to face learning is planned to begin again on Sep 2021.
